In summer, the operating ambient temperature is generally higher than the production ambient temperature. The air in the spacer expands and generates positive pressure, especially the insulating glass made of endothermic glass. The glass has strong endothermic effect. The higher the air temperature in the spacer, the greater the positive pressure.When the pressure caused by the air expansion of the spacer is higher than the failure pressure of the glass, the glass will burst. Similarly, in winter, when the temperature is higher than the ambient temperature during use, the air in the spacer shrinks and generates negative pressure. When the glass area is large and the spacer frame is small, the central parts of the two pieces of glass may stick together to form spots similar to rainbow, which seriously affects the use effect.The glass liquor bottle may break under the combined action of wind and snow load. 3. “Thermal cracking” after use; When using heat absorbing glass and coated glass as the original sheet to make insulating glass, thermal shock occurs due to the large temperature difference between the two points of the glass, resulting in glass damage. It is worth mentioning that thermal cracking is less common in tropical areas.
4. Prestress of glass bottle; When the glass is installed, the uneven frame or the poor quality of elastic sealant strip makes the glass bend and deform, resulting in prestress. Due to the existence of glass prestress, its wind pressure resistance strength is reduced, and even rupture occurs.
5. The glass bottle is cracked due to improper packaging and transportation; Insulating glass is different from other glass. When the insulating glass is under pressure, it is a single piece of force. If the gasket is uneven, it is easy to cause the insulating glass to burst.
